Individual Offers

An Individual Offer is a type of contract between a service provider and a customer that includes specific, customized terms and conditions. It is typically created for a single customer based on their specific needs or circumstances. In other words, an Individual Offer is an agreement between the service provider and the customer that outlines the prices, services, and terms of the offer, which are unique to that customer.

Individual Offers can be created for a variety of reasons. For example, a service provider may create an Individual Offer for a customer with specific requirements not met by the service provider’s standard product offerings. Alternatively, an Individual Offer may be used to entice a customer to switch from a competitor by offering personalized pricing and services.

From the OCS.io perspective, an Individual Offer is a special type of contract that is managed within the system. It includes the agreed-upon prices, services, and terms and conditions for that customer and is used to generate charges for the customer’s use of the service provider’s services. The OCS.io supports Individual Offers by creating Individual Offer Subscriptions or Prescriptions, which can be managed on the Subscriber, Account, or Customer level. Prescriptions, of course, could be versioned in time.
