Fees
This section provides an overview of Fee services, which are an essential component of the system’s functionality. Fee services encompass various charges and fees that can be applied within the system to support different aspects of service management and billing.
Fee services are designed to facilitate the application of specific charges or fees in response to predefined events or conditions. These charges can be related to different stages of service usage, such as activation, deactivation, suspension, reactivation, recurrent usage, or offer subscription.
One of the commonly used fee services is the Activation Fee. This fee is applicable when an offer is activated, ensuring that customers are charged a specific amount during the activation process. The Activation Fee is typically triggered when the offer is in an active state.
Similarly, the Deactivation Fee is applied when an offer is deactivated. This fee ensures that customers are charged a specific amount when they choose to deactivate the offer. The Deactivation Fee is triggered when the offer changes its state to "Deactivated."
Another fee service is the Suspend Fee, which is applied during the suspension of an offer. When an offer transitions from an active state to a suspended state, the Suspend Fee is triggered. It ensures that customers are charged a specified amount during the suspension period.
The Reactivation Fee is another fee service that comes into play when an offer is reactivated. It is applied when an offer transitions from a suspended state back to an active state. The Reactivation Fee ensures that customers are charged a specific amount during the reactivation process.
Recurrent Fee services are also available, allowing for the application of fees on a recurring basis. These fees can be configured to be applied at specific intervals, such as monthly, bi-weekly, quarterly, and so on. The number of recurrences can also be defined, providing flexibility in the fee’s application. Recurrent fees can be used for various purposes, such as subscription fees, licensing fees, or any other recurring charges.
In addition to these fee services, there are other types of charges and fees that can be configured within the system. These include One-Time Fee, which is applicable only once and can be associated with creating an offer instance or maintaining a historical record of the offer subscription.
Furthermore, Offer Subscription Fee is fee that can be charged during the subscription of an offer, regardless of its state. This means that even if an offer is inactive or in any other state, the Offer Subscription Fee can still be applied during the subscription process.
