VPN

The VPN Charging service allows for the assignment of different Charging classes for specific types of usage (e.g., Voice, SMS, etc.) when both the calling party (A#) and the called party (B#) are part of the same VPN (Virtual Private Network) group. This assignment is bi-directional, meaning that the different Charging class is applied when the usage is initiated from A# to B# or from B# to A#.

Key features of the VPN Charging service include:

  1. Integration with Multiple Services: The service seamlessly integrates with Voice, SMS, and MMS services, ensuring compatibility across various communication channels.

  2. Customizable Matching Criteria: The configuration options for analyzing the B# include Exact match, Best match, or Regular expression, providing customizable matching criteria to meet specific requirements.

  3. Efficient Management via API: The service’s API facilitates efficient management of VPN members. Subscribers can easily add or remove members from their VPN group, empowering them to maintain an up-to-date and personalized network of contacts.

  4. Active and Passive Member Configuration: Each VPN member can be configured as Active (A# or B#) or Passive (B#), depending on their role within the VPN. This flexibility allows for fine-grained control over the charging rules and ensures that the appropriate Charging class is applied to each member based on their specific VPN participation.
